From customers to the family behind Aussie Mozi Co.

Aussie Mozi began in 2015, when naturopath Stacey created a natural outdoor spray that her own family would actually be happy to wear. She wanted something effective without the sticky residue and strong repellent smell and formulated Aussie Mozi using pure essential oils with a focus on being quick-drying and easy to use every day.

Years later, Aussie Mozi found its way into our family.

Aussie Mozi has been helping families enjoy life outside for more than a decade, and long before it became ours, we were customers ourselves.

Living in Queensland, Todd and I spend plenty of our time outside with the kids, camping, fishing, afternoons by the water and BBQs at home. Aussie Mozi was simply one of those products we already knew, used and loved.

So when Stacey, who had built Aussie Mozi over the years, decided it was time to pass the business on, the opportunity caught our attention. Buying a mozzie spray business definitely wasn't something we'd ever planned on doing, but there was something pretty special about taking on a product we already genuinely used as a family.

Since then, there's been a lot to learn! From figuring out how to order thousands of bottles and working with our manufacturer, to packaging, websites and all the little things we never knew went into getting one bottle of Aussie Mozi into someone's hands.

We're proud to be the next family behind Aussie Mozi Co. and to keep building on what was already here before us, while putting a little bit of our own family into where it goes next.

From our little corner of Queensland to yours, we hope Aussie Mozi gets to come along for plenty more camping trips, fishing days, backyard BBQs and adventures outside.
